Please Note: We are aware as are most racers that the game as well as the consoles do glitch from time to time. We are not responsible for finishes or outcomes based on a glitch but we will do our best to make the best decision possible when these situations present themselves
1.Damage is ON. Unless otherwise stated with prior notice.
2.Yellow Flags will be ON at all races except for Road Courses where we will run competition yellows. See Below for procedure.
2b. Before getting into a race, wether pit stops are required or not, you should learn how to enter pit lane. During a warm-up or practice session, make sure to familiarize yourself with its location. Things to pay attention to are: Wether or not there is a blend lane, the speed limit as well as your stretegy for getting slowed down to that speed limit(35 - Short Tracks, 45 - Speedways, 55 - Super Speedways). These are all very important to saving time during your pit stops. Lastly, make sure you don't upset someone's race when attempting to enter. If someone is folling closely on your in-lap, it may be smarter to allow that driver to pass so you can enter safely and also to avoid cautions. If the track is crowded, do it as safely as you can. Perfecting your pit-stops can gain or cost you precious spots on the track. Don't wait till last minute to work on your entrance. Make sure you're the one gaining postions because your practiced.
3.Black Flags will be ON and will also be aggressive but fairly called by league officials on track. Do not argue black flag calls in race please. Take them up with league officials after the race if you have a problem. If ignored, drivers are subject to penalties and or suspension.
4.Wear is always on normal unless otherwise discussed.
5.Speed compensation will not be turned on unless otherwise discussed.
6.Race Length will be around 50-55% for Cup and 85-100% for Trucks. The "B" Room will now be 35-45% as long as there are 5 or more drivers. This is subject to change according to late season turnout.
7.Race day schedule is as follows. There will be a practice session at 7:30pm Eastern Time. Not Mandatory but recommended!
Qualifying will begin promptly at 8:30pm Eastern in which the Top 14 drivers will make the "Feature" Room racing for the top 14 points positions and drivers with qualifying positions 15-XX will race in the "B" room for finishing postions 15-XX with a 35-45% race as long as there are 5 drivers. There will no longer be a transfer spot into the feature race!
The Feature race will lineup according to the initial qualifying session just like we always have and race will begin at 9pm Eastern sharp.
The "B" room will re-qualifying right before they run the race but will also start at 9pm sharp.
8.Race lobbies for your race will be open a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the agreed start time but will fluctuate frequently depending on race procedure.
9.If a racer is dropped BEFORE the green flag we will make reasonable attempts to restart the race.
10.Drivers dropped from the race AFTER the green flag will be treated as a blown engine and will receive points according to their finish position.
11.If the server fails a host will make reasonable attempts to restart the race with the nearest of laps remaining. If it looks to be a problem with the host, we will have the next available driver/admin host the next room. If it turns out to be an EA problem, we will postpone the race to the next possible date.
12.If a racer lags out during pre-race we will make a maximum of 3 attempts to start the race with a full field.
13.We are aware of the rule when a driver drops of other drivers being a lap down. We will score drivers in logical order regardless of laps down. Please keep track of your position in the event of an EA glitch. Also, please do not worry on the track about situations that may or may not fix themselves. If a problem occurs, we will take all steps necessary to fix it as fairly as possible.
14.Races will not be restarted for a late entry. We allow for tardiness as long as a race has not yet started, but will not restart a race once it has begun.
15.If a race is cut short of 75% the remaining laps will be run in a separate room.
16.Drivers will be removed from the league after three no shows without making race administrators aware. Its is Your responsibility to advise league officials if you cannot make the race. Those who plan on running a part time schedule must also advise officials of their activity. Also, if this is something you don't plan on staying dedicated to or interested in, then please let us help find you a less serious league to join. We are here to have fun and not take things too serious; But that being said, turnout is important for that to take place and we would like to have an understanding of who will be around and who will not.
17.Drivers must also have a valid email address, instant message account or valid phone number to enter.
18.Drivers must keep their respective XBL Gamertags during the course of a season, unless circumstances that are out of control present themselves. Please advise league officials if you plan on changing your Gamertag.
19.Xbox Live Headsets are required during league races for proper on track communications among other drivers. If you are having problems with a headset and need some help, please contact an admin and we will do our best to point you in the right direction in order to fix the problem.
20.Custom cars are ALLOWED. However, we ask that if you choose a number that has a regular car already, that you would try to run it every now and then to lessen server stress.
21.The Cup Series champion will receive the only provisional given each year until the official prize structure is announced. He/She may use that provisional at any race throughout the season that he/she does not qualify for.Additional prizes on the way!
1.Positions 15-XX will be given the opportunity to race for points. By racing in a 35-45% race, the winner will recieve 15th place points and the remaining positions will get points for their corresponding finish.
2.The "B" Room will be re-qualifying so once you join room 2, please load your qualifying setup and green up so that we may began qualifying asap in order to begin racing at 9 sharp.
3.After qualifying, please load your race setup and again, green up so we know you are ready and we can get racing!
1. After qualifying in which we have more than 14 drivers, we will need to lineup according to qualifying times to give drivers their proper starting positions.
2.Once you join the main room, please load your RACE setup and green up.
3.After your setup is loaded and you are green, please proceed to the start finish line WITHOUT CROSSING!! (If you cross the start finish line, you may be placed at the back of the pack. You can try to immediately exit practice and come back out on the track, but understand we are tight on time.)
4.When all of the drivers are lined up, we will begin our laps and STOP ON THE BACKSTRECH! Only the polesitter is allowed to finish his lap. (You may be penalized if you do otherwise.)
5. Please keep conversation to a minimum as we announce the lineup.
6.When you hear your name, please complete your lap. Once all laps are finished, we will begin racing.
1.All teams must have an Owner or Co Owners.(Owners must be able to take care of team responsibilities)
2.Owners/Drivers may not discuss future contracts until the last year of their contract.(It will be considered "tampering" if found otherwise and will be subject to penalty)
3.Owners/Drivers must discuss contract length, winning percentage, signing bonus and car number. Then relay that information to league administrators before the start of the upcoming season. (It will be considered one year, 33% and 15,000 if we don't hear about it.)
4.There will be a maximum of 3 cars per team.
5.Drivers under contract must remain with their respective teams until relieved of their current team contract. (Default contract length of 1 Season)
6.Release from a Team Contract and movement to another team will result in a $75,000 fine as well as a possible point deduction.(Take your team signing seriously. Know who you are getting involved with and talk to them about their commitment.) From that point on, points may be earned by replacement driver.
7.Drivers however can be released if they miss 3 consecutive races or break the league code of conduct. Drivers must inform Team Owner and League Admin if you are going to be gone for longer than 3 races. If you don't care enough, don't join a team in the first place!
8.Teams are allowed to merge at season end if when merged they stay under the 3 car maximum team.
9.If when merged and a driver is needed to be released a team may do so as long as that driver has an expiring contract or if the team is willing to take a $75,000 team deduction.
10.If for some reason you cannot make the show, you are allowed to have a teammate who did not make the race sub for you. You must inform league admins beforehand.
11.Teams and teammates should be taken seriously. If you don't think you can handle team duties, please don't sign up with one. If you are a starting out new at a track, don't be afraid to ask for help within your team and if they cant help, ask outside the team. People are usually willing to help if asked politely.
1.Drivers must be clean and respectful of other drivers on and off the track while doing anything involved with SpeedAffair.
2.Drivers must be conscious on their language at all times. Foul language will NOT be tolerated and penalties and/or suspension will be given to those who cannot keep it clean.
3.No personal attacks against other drivers and no Back-stabbing! Got a problem? Take it off-track and go directly to that person. If you need an administrators help, please ask. Please do not involve other drivers in your problems or solutions unless they were directly involved.
4.Cheating of any form will not be tolerated and will result in severe penalties and/or immediate league suspension.
5.Intentional wrecking and or caution flags will not be tolerated and will result in severe penalties/suspension and/or immediate ejection from the race.
6.Accidents do happen but spinning your car because you're to far behind is not tolerated.
7.Drivers are to keep a level of respect among each other at all times and on all communication possibilities involving SpeedAffair. This includes text, video, forums activity and voice communication. It is your life and you are free to do and act how you want, but while you are involved in SpeedAffair(Races, Practices, Qualifying, Meetings and Chat including Email), please follow this code accordingly. Thank you!
8.Administrators will give a fair warning for anything beyond your clean initial reaction with apology and/or short explanation to an on track incident. Followed then by an immediate black flag if things continue to get out of hand and an immediate kick from race and suspension if black flag is argued.
All on-track incidents will be judged on a case by case basis. There is no set standard for punishment. All decisions should be final by the following morning and no later than the morning of the following race.
-Yellow flags will be turned off.
-According to the amount of laps per competition yellow, the leader will freeze the field as he crosses the finish line before the segment's final lap.
-You will then slow down and make your way into line before entering pits. Enter the pits together and pit. You Must Pit! You have to do something in the pits, you cannot hit "b" and drive-thru.(If you accidently cancel the stop, you must wait until the first driver exits the pits before you proceed onto the track.)
-As you come out of the pits you have the green flag to immediately begin racing until the next stop or checkered flag.
The Drivers that have won a race in the current or previous season qualify: Nitro, KartRacer, AlabamaRebel, Chaos, Bobbylite, Rickylite, Boston, Urban, Rangers, MVZ, WinstonCup, Aftermath, Murare, 4Wheelin, EarnhardtFan & NapaRacing!
We will NOT have a vote in this season.
We will also run an open race if there are any open spots. The Drivers eligible to race will be split into two rooms completely random with help from random.org. Then we will run a race where we will take the top 2 drivers who will then be qualified for the All-Star race.
-Field will be 12-14 drivers.*
-One 50 Lap segment with a green flag pit stop after you complete lap 25. You must pit, take 4 tires and fuel and then finish the race. (Cautions off, DETAILS SOON)
